unable to install autocad 2014 in windows 7 64 bit.

Hello,

I tried to install autocad 2014 with student liscensing. I have a asus intel i7-3610 QM, 2.3 GHz, 64 bit processor, 8 gb ram, and hard drive is almost empty. I tried to install several times, it says communication error. I tried to allow access through the firewall, still same result. I also took help from my friends, didnt work out. Can you please help me with it. as it is really important. Thanks in advance,

Hello. You are trying to use orphaned installation files. You are not clicking the correct file to run this type of installation. It would be on your desktop if you still have it. I would guess you should download a new copy of the file from here:

http://autodesk.creativevirtual15.com/autodesk/bot.html?isJSEnabled=1&businessArea=Root.Front%20Desk...

This should bypass the message altogether.
