Unable to export acadlt 2013 licence for re-installation on new PC

Moving acadlt 2013 to a new PC. Licence export fails with the error: "the serial number you entered is not valid (1)". I've checked the serial no & product key in the "about" / "product details" screens and they seem to match the data in the licence export window.

Help appreciated please!

Does someone at you office have LT2014, or the MAC version of LT?
Or are you the only one with LT in your organization?
The error message is telling you that the license number was used for an upgrade.

Hi Dean

We only have one autodesk product.

I did get an offer to upgrade to LT 2014 ages ago, but i don't think i upgraded. There was a new serial number & prod key in the upgrade email.

Thanks

You can install LT2013 on the new PC and authorize it like you did on your old PC back in the day: no need for the LTU.
But if it fails with the same error message then either your license is messed up (you will need to wait for an autodesk staffer to help) or your license got robbed and used by someone else to upgrade. Hope it's the former (so sit tight if that's the case).

Thanks for the help Dean

Have already installed on new PC but can't proceed past the entry of serial number. How can i get the attention of an Autodesk staffer?

Cheers, Gary
