There has to be a better way!
I created the BDSP deployment and added custom paths for our plotters and when I install it all the plotter paths revert to the OOTB paths.
But wait! It gets worse. 
Previously I deployed IDSP with the same custom paths and they worked, but after installing BDSP on the same work station it change all the plotter paths for IDSP components back to OOTB paths.
