Trial CRASHES- Unhandled e0434f4dh exception at 778176fdh

AutoCAD Lt 2011- Trial Continues to Abort- I tried to mimick one set of commands that I noticed caused it to crash and got the following message- even with brand new files created in AutoCAD LT 2011 I get: Unhandled e0434f4dh exception at 778176fdh

I send a report each time but still have not be contacted in any form since Friday Oct 14th and literally have not been able to work since my AutoCAD LT 2009 is no longer supported...it has been not performing well and I would like to purchase a new Subsription for AutoCAD LT 2011 but not sure why it crashes.

My DELL only is used for AUTOCAD:

  • Dell Precision T3400
  • Windows Vista Business
  • Intel [R] Core [TM]2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.5 GHz
  • 4.00 GB RAM
  • NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700

Please help- I have been at a stand still for drawing and billable hours since Friday October 14th-

Best Regards,

Ms. Melissa Mather, AIA

Login as a differnt user to see if the crashes stop.

Start AutoCAD in diagnostic mode as per the link below:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?linkID=9240617&id=6453117&siteID=123112

Upgrade your graphics card driver. If already upgraded downgrade it by one version to see if it helps.

Which email ID have you used to send the error resports?

Video Card- I did up load a new update after I sent last report and it still crashed...but my AutoCAD LT 2009 is working a little better, which is why I was looking for new program.  But I know AutoCAD LT 2009 is no being supported by Autodesk so I have to make a financial commitment soon.

But at this point, I am not sure why Trial is so messed up.

I did have my FIREWALL ON when I down loaded trial- which I did not know you have suppose to deactivate when down loading.

Is there anyway I can just RELOAD the TRIAL?

I will even do it for like 24-25 days which is what I have left from the Friday down load?

I am a one person firm and when I cannot draw- no one is drawing...Thank you for any help you can give.

This has been an known and documented problem affecting AutoCAD for years and it has to do with your Microsoft .NET Framework.  Please check this Autodesk KB:

I would also suggest Travis' suggestion of installing the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP 1 as per the link below:

 http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=13109351&linkID=9240617

Your crash is occuring due to a .dll file (as seen from your crash error report) and hence it is advisible that you run a

"Repair" of AutoCAD LT 2011 from the Control Panel (Add/Remove Programs>Uninstall/Change) of your machine
