Transferring standalone license to new system

I wanted to transfer a 2008 AutoCAD LT version onto my home computer. The Portable License Utility comes with a message "You cannot export this license." Is it still possible to transfer and, if so, how?

Have you tried activating it first on the new computer?  If you have never upgraded it or let Subscription lapse, it might just activate still.  2008 is retired, but you can use the last version you purchased legally.
