I have Windows XP Professional, and I accidentally uninstalled 3ds Max 2011 (32-bit). I used System Restore to get it back on my laptop, and used the repair option of 3ds Max on the Add or Remove Programs section to try and fix it up. But now whenever I tried opening 3ds max, but it keeps saying 'The software license check out failed. Error 25.'
Can someone help me out?
Can you remove the .data file and then re-launch product? The .data file is located here:
I solved it. I deleted the the ProductInformation.pit file that caused the problem and I uninstalled 3ds max to re-installed it, and it worked.
Thanks for the tip. :3
Actually I did get a response from support to this article:
which was equally unhelpful since none of the reference files are in my system.
Thanks
Hello. I have Windows 7 Home Premium and I cannot open Autodesk 3ds Max 2013 x64. I have deleted the file that is in this post but it is not working. I have even uninstalled the program twice and installed back again.
I will upload a picture with the problem.
Any help would be useful.
Thanks.
Sebastian
Bonjour,
