Re: The serial number you entered is not valid. Try again. (Error 2)

Hi g_iles,

Looking at your account, the quickest option for you would be to just register a new account with a different e-mail address and get a new serial number (you don't need to fully re-download the software; simply get to the part where the website gives you a serial number and use that new number to register your already installed program).

Best regards,

I purchased Autocad 2009 at work late 2008 but then moved to another position and never installed or activated, i am back into mild autocad activity and tried to install, have S/N and activation code from the time of purchase but receive system error S/N is not valid. Try again. Can not activate the product

Hello Eduardo!

"The serial number you entered is not valid" error is typically caused by a license that was upgraded per a subscription contract which has since expired. As it turns out that is exactly the case with your AutoCAD 2009 license which was upgraded to AutoCAD 2011.

With that being said, I'll send you a Private Message momentarily with the upgraded licensing information and corresponding download links.

Please accept as a solution if this fully answers your inquiry, or reply with additional questions as needed.

Hi Joe!

Your best bet for activation support or will always be directly contacting our License Assistance Team

With that being said, it also looks like your license was upgraded (in your case to 3ds Max 2011) and as the newer version has not yet been activated, you're entitled to use the 2010 software.

I'll send you a Private Message momentarily with the upgrade info. Should you wish to stay on 2010, please reply with the serial number and request code so that I can generate an activation code.

Hi ellman,

Our commercial licenses are not normally set up to expire. However, I see that you are a subscription customer so what probably happened is that your 2010 software was upgraded to the most current version, which would prevent you from activating an older version-

I can check this for you if you send me the serial number in question via Private Message (click on my camilo.lemos profile name and then on Send This User a Private Message).

Best regards,
