The application was unable to start correctly(0xc000007b)

Hello Team,

I just installed the 3ds Max Design 2013 and it completed successfully. However, when I try to launch it, I get an error box saying 'the application was unable to start correctly(0xc000007b). click ok to close the application.' Can you please help? My system details are as below.

OS: Windows 7 Professional 64bit

.NET: 4.5.50709

Visual C++: 10.0.40219

Installer filename: Autodesk_3ds_Max_Design_2013_EFGKJS_Win_64bit.exe

These errors are very hard to troubleshoot.  

Do you have a certified video card?

If you have a Geforce card, can you change graphics mode?

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I do not have a separate graphics card on my laptop. I run a i5 with 4GB RAM..is this error due to these specifications?

Also can you confirm that the file I have used to install is correct for Windows 7 Professional? Lastly, is there any logs that the executable maintains that I can see for the error?
