Switching Serial Number

We are changing a few of our AutoCAD licenses to Revit Series licenses...is
there a way to change the serial number (and therefore which product number
it looks to in the license file on the server) in an existing install of
AutoCAD, so that I don't have to reinstall those seats?

No. The feature code is built into the product and has nothing to do with the serial number at all. Depending on which series the AutoCAD was installed from, that is the license feature that it will ask the License Manager for.
