Student licence - Ativate Maya and 3ds Max together.

Hi,

I am a student and I want to learn to use both Autodesk Maya and Autodesk 3ds Max! I have a macintosh macbook pro with Mac OS X Snow Leopard and Windows 7 installed. I downloaded Autodesk Maya 2012 for Mac OS X and Autodesk 3ds Max 2012 for Windows. I activate the Autodesk Maya for Mac OS X but when I tried to do the same for Autodesk 3ds Max showed an error. The message said it had reached the activation limit. I would like to study the two tools.

Hello miltoncsl,

I didn't see a serial number for 3ds Max attached to your Education Community profile, and would recommend that you log in and request one. Do you have multiple profiles or have you already activated 3ds Max on another machine? These licenses are setup to allow 1 activation with iodination ones requiring manual assistance, which can be found here.
