Student can't install student version of maya 2014 or 2015

I've been trying to download Maya for 2 days. I have tried 2014 and 2015 and came up with the same error message above every time. It starts loading then suddenly quits. I checked over the system requirements and they all seem to match.

I have windows 8.1 and the 64-bit OS  x64-based processor . 15.2 usable GB RAM. Processor: AMD A10-5750 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.50 GHz.

This is a brand new laptop. i have tried clearing out the downloads and autodesk folder. My instructors and I can't find the problem. I'm trying to download the student addition.

I had the same problem, what I ended up doing was instead of clicking the install now button i clicked on the dropdown menu thats attached to the install now button, and in the dropdown menu I tried another option. I think i clicked download now. The dropdown menu doesn't look like a dropdown menu, it just looks like a speach bubble so it took me forever to realize it was even a menu. I hope this helps.
