Strange error

I'm getting a strange error message when I try and install the 2015 version of AutoCAD. The error I speak of is 'Entry point not found: C:\Autodesk\AutoCAD_2015_English_32_64bit_R1_wi_en-us\Setup\LiteHtml.dll.  Can someone help me plsease?

Take a look at the solution linked below for that litehtml.dll error and give those solutions a try.

I tried the first solution and still get that error andthe second solution doesn't make sense to me.

For the second solution can you try just ignoring the othert steps and try this part only ? 

  • Right-click  Setup.exe, go to Properties,  select the Compatibility tab, select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)."

I should  have mentioned that I have Windows 8 on my Laptop which is where I'm trying to install it on. I have already downloaded both the Browser Download and Download Now for 2015.

I understand, you are choosing the compatibility mode to try to work around the error you are encountering.

Hi, I have the same exact problem. I followed what you said, but it still didn't work. I'm also quite confused by the first solution. Where do I find these Windows C++ components? Where are they located on my computer?

Yes the Microsoft Visual C++ versions are on your computer. If you load your programs and features control panel you should see a list of them. If you opt to uninstall and re-install them they can be re-installed from the links below. Note: 64 bit OS types need both the x86 and x64 versions installed.
