Service pack 3 questions

Hello all,

Is it required to uninstall my version of maya2014 in order to get the service pack 3? And if so would there be an issue with reinstalling maya back onto te computer? (If it helps, when I purchased the autodesk softwear it came on a flashdrive).

from the read me: This service pack is a full product installation on all operating systems.
Uninstall your existing Maya application before installing this release.

you use the same serial number and product key as before
