What do you mean teamed network interface?

I have my license file for Autodesk regular and Autodesk 3D in one license file. I actually had it working for a long time using version 2010 for both. Now I was tasked to upgrade it to our 2011 version, and so what I did was to uninstall the NLM 2010 and installed NLM 2011. I acquired a license file and did the same procedure when I did 2010. Unfortunately, I didn't have it working. I got frustrated and uninstalled 2011 and put back 2010 but to same result. Now even my 2010 is not working.

By the way, I am using Server 2003.

If possible try to disable the network interface with the Mac ID :003048b9ea20

I already was able to resolve the Services on my MS 2003 server. But I still have problems with my NLM. I am getting errors on my log file. and I am getting a lot of these invalid license key error(s). Should I acquire a new license file? Please help.

if you havent made any changes to the license file received from autodesk and if the mac address is the same it should work.

if you modified any of those, its best to get a new file.

How do you request a new .lic.  We had a NIC go bad and swapped it out so the MAC Address did change.  We are using Autocad 2011

To Obtain a license file:

Contact the Autodesk Registration and Authorization office and provide the following information: 1-800-551-1490 or authcodes@autodesk.com you need:

  • Product serial number(s)
  • Server name
  • Host ID (Ethernet Address)
  • An email address where Autodesk can send the license file.

to set up the license manager: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=14379546&linkID=9240617

I'm having the same issue.

Are you saying that the .lic file needs to be created from the host server because it takes the NIC MAC address from the native system the license file was created from into account?

the license file needs to be tied to the server that will be running LM tools
