serial number not valid during reinstall

Hi,

We have a single seat license of ACAD LT 2013.  The desktop it was installed on was having issues and was completely reformattedt to factory settings.

ACAD LT 2013 was reinstalled and it took both the serial number and product key that is on the disc case.  However, when it is started now, it requires activation and when the serial number is entered it comes back with an invalid serial number message.

Usually this means that the S/N was upgraded at some point.

While you wait, you might try this....

1. Visit http://knowledge.autodesk.com/contactus
2. Select “Activation & Registration” or “License Management”
3. Select appropriate subtopics from the pull-down menus
4. Select “I Still Need Help” and then CHAT for personal assistance

Thanks for your help.

I got through on a chat and they were able to help me manually activate the progam.
