are you just using the vpn connection for the connection to a network with a license manager on it?

autocad and licences isnt of concern as the computer using the vpn has its own licenced version. we want to use the vpn to access the server so access is live. copying from the server doing work from home then copying back isnt viable.

I am having the same problem with autocad 2015.  Is there a setting in Autocad that allows you to shut off or redirect the latency problems autocad causes over a vpn connection?  Everytime anyone logs into my companies network via vpn connection the whole network slows to a hault.

I’ve had technicians look at our network numerous times. It works to copy the file from the vpn to the computer, however opening and working on the file causes the issue as it takes 15 minutes to open and crashes half the time. We need the ability to open and work on a file that is located on on server, not copy it, use it and resave it. its an issue of latency.
