Revit Structure 2011 Installation : unable to locate license

This is a network installation. The license file is located on the host server. All the older versions of Revit and Autocad are able to locate the license file. However, the Revit Structure 2011 cannot find the license when pointed towards that server. Why should this happen and how do I fix it? Thanks.

->Please delete c:\programdata\Autodesk\adlm\cascadeinfo.cas file.

->Make sure you have the required license on the server, and it is running latest version of Lmtools (11.7)

->please check the licpath.lic in the RS 2011 folder correct license server name.

if none fix the issue, please send us more details on the error, you can also create verbose log for licensing

I cannot locate the folder you mentioned in all the three alternatives. Do I have to look for it on the workstation or on the server, where the license if located?

I could not locate the programdata folder in the C drive. But in the C:/Program files /Autodesk/Revit Structure 2011; I found the licensepath.lic showing 0KB.

Is that why it cannot locate the license? How do I get a Licensepath.lic file to place in that folder?

licpath.lic can be manually created in the program folder.
