Revit 2015 Trial Installation Problems

I've spent way too much time trying to get this installed... hopefully someone can help me out.

I used the Virtual Client to download the installation files using google chrome

The installation aborted and the log file said that Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (x64 & x86) failed to install

So I uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (x64 & x86) and tried it again, then I got an Error 1355.

I don't know what the next step is to get this installed, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen this in the past when the download of the product gets corrupted.  Did you try redownloading?

I am re-downloading it again now... hopefully I get lucky and it works. 

The installation log still said the MSVC++ was abroted durring installation after I got past that error.
