Revit 2014 Update 1 invokes of 6 Security updates which cause Revit to crash

The title says it all. Here's my sequence:

Install Revit 2014 & Workshare Monitory. Reboot. No problem. Install Update 1, then Windows Update kicks in and causes 6 security updates to get installed. (See Image). After they install & a reboot, Revit 2014 will run for only a couple minutes before crashing - the crash brings up a 'error report' that sends off to Microsoft.

Running a 'repair' on .NET 4.5 has no effect.

dtiemeyer,

Hello. I do not see your images but it sounds like the updates did not install correctly. At this stage I would consider an uninstall and a reinstall. Make sure Antivirus is totally off and you have Admin rights to your machine. Install without the service packs and see if the behavior is stable. Then install the service packs after.

Thank you David. It turned out to be an 'addin' that wasn't playing nice with .NET 4.5. Thanks.
