title is basically the jist of the problem. I have windows seven 64 bit installed, as well as revit 2011 which intalled fine. I have 2012 installed on another computer with the same set up. Are there any compatability issues with 2012 that 2011 didn't have? I can see the process in the task manager, but it never actually opens and the process itself wont respond to a cancelation order.

Shouldn't be any compatibility issues. Have you tried launching it as a different user or Run as Administrator? Have you applied the latest service pack?
