I have a network license that was working fine until my motherboard went wrong and has been replaced by a new mobo.

The license won't work so now I cannot use Maya.

All 'help' I find on the net leads me back to registration and activation loop, I cannot find a secific option to request a new license file that will work on my new machine.

I have the ID of the new machine: Evora 6805CA18B6D5

I have a big job on now so I am loosing a lot of money every day because of this, so please help asap.

Regards,

Phil

Hello Phil,

My apologies for your experience in getting your License FIle.

I have edited your previous post as it contained your Serial Number, which is sensitive information.

I also created your license file for you, using the 2014 Serial Number in your account. Since you are on Subscription this License FIle also contains the previous years of your products. Your License File should already be in your email.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

You can use the online method to activate your license here:

http://www.autodesk.com/licensesupport or www.autodesk.com/register

Or you can can call Autodesk Product Registration and Authorization:

1-800-551-1490 > Option 1 (English) > Option 2 > (Network)

Asia / Pacific: 65.6735.5688
Europe / Middle East / Asia: 41.32.723.9595

You will need to provide your serial number and server name, MAC Address

I need a LIC file not an activation code, I already have activation etc as I have been using the software for a while.

I got a really helpful guy appeard in a popup window:

Phil: I need a new LIC file for my newnetwork license server

Phil: I have an old license but it no longer works now my hardware is upgraded

Phil: I have the ID of the new machine: Evora 6805CA18B6D5

Vincent: sure

Vincent: Let me help you with that, can i have your serial number, the company name and the country registered to the serial number and also the the server name and the mac address please.

Phil: xxx-xxxxxxxx

Vincent: i will need the server name and mac address to generate a new license file for you

Vincent: are you still there?

Your Live Chat session with Autodesk has ended.

You’re not currently in a Live Chat session with Autodesk.

Waited 10 mins for a reply and then I tried to find what he was asking for as I thought I had already provided it on line 3. Must have been 5 mins and got cut off. No way of getting back.

This drives me crazy.....

I have already registered etc... Don't want to call Switzerland just want a LIC file surely there is a part in my login page where I can ented the required details and it gets emailed to me? I just cant find it. All afternoon no joy - vey tired 10 hours of scratching my head. :smileysad:
