Does anyone know if running a stand alone installation from a remote location is possible? Our IT dept. tried to run a stand alone installation from their machine to one of ours in the engineering department, and now we are getting a license error and Inventor will not run.

This method is not supported and violates the license agreement. The stand-alone installation must be installed and licensed on only one machine and used by only one user on that machine. It can not be run or accessed over the network by means to run the program from another virtual or terminal server.
