RealDWG 2014 installation on non OS drive?

Hi,

I have 100 GB of SSD as primary drive and I don't want to install RealDWG on C: which is already on low disk space. So tried to install it on 😧 by changing the path during installation but installer always installs it on C:

Is there any way to install the toolkit on D:? I am on Win 8.1

Thanks,

Sandeep.

A large portion of the application wants to be on the primary OS C: drive
I would suggest you move other items off that HD instead.

But if RealDWG needs to be on the C: then what is the use of giving option of choosing the installation directory during installation?

Please understand that some parts of the installation files are necessary to be installed on the root system drive. Shortcuts, registry settings, and profile customizations are all examples of this. However, you may be able to make some system changes that will allow you to install your Autodesk product and avoid this error. Please review my KB article for more information:

Good Luck!

Hi,

I totally agree on your point. If it is required that RealDWG toolkit to be on system drive only then there should not be option of choosing the installation directory during setup.
