re-install LT 2008 including LT 2011 UPGRADE

I have installed on my PC full version LT 2008 including LT 2011 UPGRADE both are single license. I also have on hand both original CD's with software. I wish to transfer both programs from my old to my new purchased PC. Do I need to install LT 2008 prior to LT 2011 UPGRADE or does the CD with 2011 UPGRADE have the complete program. Can I use the old Product Keys or must I reques for new Product Keys for both versions.

Hi,

your AutoCAD LT 2011 CD should include the full program, so no need to install the previous version. You can just install LT 2011 and activate it with the same serial number and product key (but your request code and activation code will be different on the new machine).

Please also be aware that depending on whether the upgraded license is under Subscription or not, you may not be entitled to keep using the previous version after you upgraded the license. Please refer to your license agreement for details.

I can confirm the installation and activation of my AutoCad 2011 was successful with out any difficulties.
