product activation wizard will not work on newer MAC OS ...is there a solution?

I needed to restore my hard disk and was saddened to see the product activation wizard for my 2009 maya unlimited (EDU) was PPC and will not work with any OS 10.7 or after. Is there anyway I can get my software to activate?

So sorry you've run into this installation / licensing issue. Autodesk Maya is actually one of our Mac compatible products, however you will still experience troubles when installing older versions of our products on more current operating systems.

Please see the Autodesk Maya 2009 system requirements for further clarification.

If there is any chance you have a machine that fits those requirements / or can somehow get your product up and running on an unsupported operating system, we can activate your product for you.
