Problems with Server Code

As for the server code. The AdLM admin tool will tell you this. If this
is the same as your old one and your auth. code is not working, then you
may have to reinstall AdLM to generate a new server code (unless there is a
feature that I haven't seen yet). For the auth. code you will have to
contact Autodesk somehow, either through their website or through a 1-800
number. You might be able to get the 1-800 number from you local AutoCAD
reseller. I am currently waiting for my auth. codes for AutoCAD 2000
Mechanical. I have been waiting 5 business days now (their website says
that it might take up to 2 business days). I will be making a call to them
today.

I hope that this helps.

Hi, i need a help

We used the AdLM to manage 2 AutoCADR14 floating licenses. We had to change
the lay-out and the new computers in our network and I tried to use the same
Server Code, Host name and Authorization Code, however the system did not
run.

I asked authcodes@autodesk.com for a new Server and Authorization Code, but
i had no answer.

I would like to know who can help me with this problem.
In the past I used to talk to Ms. Cristhine Knight to solve this kind of
problems and she always answered me promptly

Please, send the answer to ewerton.luppo@uol.com.br or ebluppo@uol.com.br
c.c. to engineering@kck.com.br

Thanks

Ewerton,

If you change the network properties of your license server, reauthorization is
a normal requirement. You must generate the server code, this is required
information, along with your serial number(s), for our customer service
department to generate an authorization code. I suggest you review the license
management installation and authorization sections of your AutoCAD Installation
guide for specifics.
