Problem with the website when choosing Revit MEP version for students

Hi all,

When I'm choosing which version of Revit MEP (student version) I want to download from the Autodesk Free Download webpage, the droplist shows nothing. The webpage says I'm succesfully signed in and "Select the free software you want" dropdown list shows empty. I'm unable to continue to choose the language and OS because I can't select the software version.

I don't think everyone has this issue but if there is someone from Autodesk who can help me through why the list shows empty.

I have tried to sign in with Chrome and IE, but both shows empty list.

I attached a screenshot of the problem.

Hopefully this can be fixed!

Hello f6726 and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you need to find out more about downloading or re-downloading software, or are having issues that may be resolved by re-downloading.

For Windows users, before downloading products on Windows 10, please check that the product is compatible.

Hello @f6726

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with downloading.  I would like to suggest downloading the product using this download method.  To download try the following:

  1. Click on the following link:  Downloading Previous Versions of Autodesk Software Using the Virtual Agent
  2. Click the link in step 2 to access the Virtual Agent
  3. Click on Download Links
  4. Click on Revit Products
  5. Then on Revit MEP
  6. Select the appropriate product and click the link to download.

It is necessary to perform the following steps to assure a successful installation:

  1. Make sure you Logon to your computer as an Administrator.
  2. Empty your TEMP folder.  To open the TEMP folder type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Explorer and hit Enter.  Delete all the contents of this folder.  Don't worry if deleting doesn’t remove everything by skipping files.
  3. Disable your Antivirus software.  All Antivirus programs are different.  You may need to consult your Antivirus website to learn how to temporarily disable your service.
  4. Disable UAC.  The following link will instruct you on how to disable UAC:

Turn User Account Control on or off

Double clicking on any of the downloaded files will begin the installation process.
