Problem with compatibility

I am running a network of 20 computers in a high school classroom. The computers are running windows 7 Professional 64 bit. We are using the AutoDesk Design Academy 2012 and all the programs run fine except REVIT 2012. All the programs are installed and run from the local machine not from the server. The machines have Nvidia Quadro FX1700 video cards with the latest drivers.

 

When you launch REVIT you get a window asking if you want to participate in a customer survey thing pops up. Next you get a your license is non expiring pop up window. the first practice rawing that comes with REVIT opens with or in a 3D view this brigs an error message and askes you to choose another view. You can use any view but a 3D one, they cause the program to close.

 

You have to run the program in Vista compatibility mode to run and function normally. I have downloaded and installed the both service packs. It does not seem to matter if you run it as the administrator ar as a student user it happens both times.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

 

Can you provide us the following information for further troubleshooting.

 

1. What type of error message you receive. Is it possible for you to take a screenshot of it.

 

2. Does this happen if you login as a particular user. Have you tried logging in as a local administrator.

 

3. Please also check whether you have installed a certified graphic driver for your revit 2012 to work consistently,

4. If it is crashing with an error report dialog. Can you able to send us one and let us know the email address you have used.
