Hi - We purchased 3x 2008 versions of Autocad lt in 2008 while working as a Chartered Architectural Practice on the Great Yarmouth College campus. I believe that 2 of the licences were purchased through the College for us to take when we moved out of their Alchemy facility. The contacts name at the College was Andy Cooper who then was the head of their IT Department. We also purchased an option at the timefor 2 upgrades presumably taking us on to 2010. We don't believe that we used the upgrades.
We moved out of the Alchemy Centre at Great Yarmouth College in 2010 to our current address here in Bells Road in Gorleston.
We currently have a dilemma. We have purchased 1x Autocad LT 2012 Full Version which upgraded one of the Autocad LT 2008 copies we own. That seems fine apart from the fact it is sluggish with a Microsoft mouse but ok with a dell or other type of mouse.
The Autocad lt versions 2011 and 2010 that we have have also been upgraded sucessfully with a LT 2013 upgrades. And now the problem....
The remaining Autocad Lt 2008 will not upgrade to 2013 Lt although we purchased the 3x 2013 upgrades at the same time. We have made an enquiry before and believe that your records show that we have a 2009 version running on the workstation that we wish to upgrade to 2013. You will appreciate that it is not possible for us to update the 2008 version on this desktop to 2009 you believe us to have as we never had any disks to run it from.
Could you please advise us how this might be resolved as we need to upgrade the 2008 version we have direct to 2013. If you still believe that we are running this 2008 version as an upgrade to 2009 firstly why would we have a copy of 2013 that we are unable currently to use and secondly if it is in your power to disable our version of the 2009 programme that we had a right to but we don't have any detail of then please do so. We can then upgrade our 2008 version and if you suspect that the 2009 is being used either here or elsewhere then it would clearly remove this possibility.
Please advise how we might proceed to rectify the problem. Thanks -
