Problem Installing the inventor 2011 sp1

Inventor 2011 suite was originally installed from the downloaded version. Have since deleted it due to ordering the dvd's. When trying to install service pack 1 it is asking for the original inventor.msi

How do I use the dvd without having to re-install everything? I tried using the dvd's inventor.msi on disk 1 but the installer program did not like it, and cancled the update.

Is there a work a-round, or a way to change where it thinks it was installed from?

OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Thanks

Hi,

what is your Inventor flavor? AIP or AIS? please try to insert disk 2 if your OS is 32bit and insert disk 3 if your OS is 64bit, open \x86\inventor or \x64\inventor, select Inventor.msi, then Click OK on that ask for original source file dialog. is it work?

Our version is AIS 64bit. Does that stand for Inventor suite 2011?

Thanks, for the tip I'll try that today.
