Pointer has trails. Screen flashes when I move the mouse.

Not really sure what is happening. Running student version AutoCAD 2015 on my hp pavillion DV7. Model is just over a year old running windows 8. i7, Nvidia Geforce 630M 2G and 12G ram.

Installation went fine. No error reports. Have tried multiple reboots and installs with same results. Screen within working area flashes when the mouse is moved. I assume it does this every time the screen area updates the movements. As you can see in the image, the pointer leaves a trail of itself wherever i move the mouse. Please help. I am in need of a 3D program for a project and nothing is working 😞

Darren makes a good point.  You should also install the latest WHQL certified driver for that video card.  I would recommend this one:

http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/77841/en-us

Good Luck!
