Please Help : Maya 2015 Won't Download

I have been go at this for days. 

First I put a student version on my laptop so I could start a class in maya and learn to use this, but my laptop was too old and maya was running slower than a frozen snail. So, I bought a new laptop with all the new stuff to make it run fast (like the Core i7 intel processor, and runs on windows 8). 

But, everytime I try to instal it, after it asks me to enter the serial number and product code, it starts the process and always goes to this from windows (please see pic attached).

If I hit "OK" it ends it right their claiming an installation failure. 

I've tried turning off the anti-virus of windows defender, and unistalled the progress to start again about 300 times, but nothing is going all the way to install the maya program and now I'm almost a week behind the other students in class because I can't get this to install.

I would recommend that you try downloading your product using the virtual assistant by following the directions here:

If it still fails, you might have a problem with your Windows Installer program.  Windows Update might resolve that.
