Patch precision

I have Alias Autostudio 2015 (student) and I am attempting to use patch precision on a plane. I can get the grid to show up but I am unable to snap curves to the grid.

Is it possible? Am I not doing something?

You might have better luck posting in the AREA forum for your product.
