OS Mavericks not allowing license transfer utility not working

Hello, I've done research and found that there are issues with registering the Maya 2014 license on the macbook pro mavericks OS.  I tried to follow a tutorial that should fix the bug by re downloading the software, and then doing a full reinstall. But before this can happen, I need to apparently transfer the license via license transfer utility. When I click on the utility, it prompts me to "sign in"....and then I wait for something to happen but nothing does. It doesn't seem to work. 

What should I do??

If you haven't activated the product yet there likely isn't a license to transfer. All you should need to do to get the license to be able to activate is install the latest Service pack version linked below.
