Operating system

I used AutoCAD from 1986 till 2003, when I retired from business.  I still use my AutoCAD 2002 for maintaining drawings of my house, etc. but don't have the use to justify an upgrade.  I have been using the program with windows XP, which is about to lose its Microsoft support.  I don't really like the newer windows platforms, so I have stayed with XP, but I may have to upgrade.

My question is: Will AutoCAD 2002 work with Windows 7 or 8 ?

No.  It won't, unfortunately.  But you can still download and use XP Mode in Windows 7.  That might still be your best bet.
