Opening up to test software

The software has been installed and refuses to begin a new drawing or open a template

Hello @Anonymous, 

 

I am not sure what product you are using, but you can review this article on how to start a drawing in AutoCAD. 

You can create a new file on the top left "A" use the arrow drop-down then click "NEW".

This is very generic information.  We need the Autodesk Product and the version.
