One License for multiple computers ?

Hello,

I just got a 3-years student license of 3ds Max. I've been sent the serial number and product key via email.

My question is: Can I use this number with two computers? (One stationed at home, the other is a laptop)

What happens , if my computer crashes? Is the number still valid then?

Thanks

Your student license is restricted to one PC use: if your primary PC dies, then you can legally reauthorize and reinstall on the other with a little help from Autodesk.

How do I reauthorize it? I bought a new computer and Maya won't obtain the licence. I dont use the old computer anymore.
