We have a strange issue with some machines running 2011 Mech where if a new user logs on to the PC the secondary installer does not run correctly. There are 2 stages on a good install. The first stage is it runs the AutoCAD Mechanical secondary install which creates files in that users profile files as well as creating the necessary registry entries. Then it runs the language pack installation.
When the secondary installer fails it only runs the 2nd stage runs which is the language pack. This means the registry is not updated correctly. I can delete the files on the user folder and the few registry keys which are written to initiate the installer again when I start ACADM but the same issue happens.
Can I run this installer manually? what does ACADM look for to decide what process is run for a new user?
We're on XP Pro SP3.
