Network Licensing - unable to use my license

I'm trying to install autocad 2012 on a computer with a single license server on the network.  Something I've done several times before.  This is a brand new windows 7 64 bit pc with 8 Gb of RAM, intel core 3.4 Ghz processor, and 900 Gb hard drive.  For some reason on this install, I enter my cd key, get a green check but the "next" button remains greyed out.  It doesn't seem to find the license server.  Even when I type in the ip address directly.  When I select browse it doesn't see the server on the network.  Does anyone have any ideas?

serial numbers are 11 digits you only put in 10
thats probably why the next button is greyed out
