I've made an Administrative Installation Point (AIP) for Autodesk Inventor
2009. That was a piece of cake, so clear and how simple to configure! Big
applause for the developpers. We're using FlexLm for the licenses and put the
name of the license server in the configuration..works perfect. Now I made a
second AIP, based on the first AIP ((I used the shortcut Create & modify a
deployment) but instead of using the license server I choose for StandAlone.
We need that second AIP for users with offline Notebooks. The 'StandAlone AIP"
works fine but if users start Autodesk Inventor, they have to Activate the
product! The screen asks for the Serial/Groups ID and if they use the serial
on the DVD box, a message comes that the serial is invalid! Does anyone know
how to solve the problem?

Franck, Thanks for the reply. As I wrote, I made the second AIP based on the
first, by following the wizard. There you have the choice to make a standalone
or network AIP. We're using a license server so I think this is a network
version. But the problem is, I can't activate with the serial on the dvd box,
although I could activate it for the first AIP. Best
regards,
