Hello all, I am looking at purchasing autocad LT for a number of users. I would love to use on terminal servers but it would break the EULA. I know Citrix is the only supported platform for this (why?). I haven't read into the Network licensing but I assume that it is used so that the software can be installed on more workstations then are licensed and only so many workstations will work according to the amount of licenses that is purchased.
I guess my main question is will terminal services ever be supported without citrix? If not why??? I am trying to avoid to have to install this on every workstation that needs it for multiple reasons.
Thanks, Tim
autocad lt is not offered as a network license or a citrix license
i can't answer about when they will support other virtualization that needs to come from autodesk
there is not a legal way of doing what are asking with autocad lt

Thanks!
That stinks, It would be nice if I could actually get a phone number to talk with someone at autodesk about this.
you would have to go through a reseller
and they should be able to ask those question to autodesk
