We are running the FlexLM license manager over a wide area network (WAN). When an individual office loses its WAN connection, the network client installs obviously don't come up. Is there any way to modify the client install to come up with, say, a temporary license until the WAN link gets restored? Thanks
Consider setting up a "distributed license
management system". This is where you split up your licenses among
multiple license servers. You then set up your programs to try all servers
for a license. When everything is working normal, things will
operationally be the same as now. During a WAN failure, local workstations
will have access to the server in their segment. For more information see

I read about that but the problem is we have over 30 small offices pulling licenses and we can't put a license server in each office. I read about the License Configuration Switcher utility for ACAD 2002. Would there be someway to utilize this to enact a temp license if the WAN link goes down? Thanks
