Navisworks 2013 Service Pack 1 now available

I am trying to create a deployment for Freedom 2013 and SP1 will not load on the configuration. I get an error box with the red circle and black X.

How to you add SP1 to the deployment?

Attached is a picture. We have had trouble in the past with file paths exceeding 256 characters so I shortened this one as seen in the image, however I was getting the error before I changed the name.

Hi revitforbreakfast,

I reproduce the error when attempting to add the service pack to a deployment using the Freedom Installer downloaded from  http://www.autodesk.com/navsiworksfreedom.  From the screenshot, it appears that this is the installer you are running.

I've documented this and sent this to our development group for investigation.

I found that if you run the Navisworks Simulate 2013 or Navisworks Manage 2013 installers; however, I was able to add the service pack for Freedom 2013 to the Freedom 2013 component.  Can you create your deployment for Freedom in this way using the Navisworks Manage or Simulate 2013 installer and unmark the Manage or Simulate and the Exporters components in the configure deployment window if you don’t wish to include them?

I received word back from development and confirmed.

After downloading and unpacking the installer available on http://www.autodesk.com/navisworksfreedom, if you right click the roamer.exe file in the unpacked installer, select properties, and check the details tab, the product/file version is 10.1.879.81.  This installer is the latest build of Freedom with the service pack fixes included.  This roamer.exe file is under the following folder when you unpack the installer:

C:\Autodesk\Navisworks_Freedom_2013_Multilingual_64bit\x64\NAVFREE\Autodesk\Navisworks Freedom 2013

So as the installer available at http://www.autodesk.com/navisworksfreedom is already the latest 10.1 build, the service pack isn’t able to be installed for it.

Thanks John,

Unfortunately I can't have my deployments contain freedom and manage. They all have to be separate. There is comfort knowing that I have the right version in my deployment. Thanks for your work.
