Navis will not let me import the license, after I use the export option.

Are you using a Standalone or Network License?

Standalone license - I share the license between a laptop and my workstation. I checked the license out on the laptop to check it in on the workstation, as I have done several times before, and it gives me the error "Import Request Failed"

From time to time export/reimports go astray and need to be reset. If the customer has a standalone copy of a 2010 product we should reset his activation by deleting the trusted storage file.

Here is how you delete the trusted storage file:

A name similar to this: adskflex_00691b00_tsf the important thing is that it begins with the adskflex. Please note once you do this all 2010 Autodesk standalone licenses will need to be reactivated. Here is the location.

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\FLEXnet

Vista/Win 7: C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet

Once they have deleted the file have them open the product and reactivate. This will give them a working product and correct any issues that happened during the import/export.

Please let me know if tihs helped.
