moving autocad 2009 license to a new server

Hi

im wondering if someone can help

i have a old server whch manages my autocad 2009 network licenses,

however i want to decomission this server and add the license management to a server which is already managing the licenses for autocad 2013

id be grateful if someone can help me

i went into lmtools and the old autocad 2009 server is using a license file, however my new server that manages autocad 2013 is using the flexnet services, im not sure how i get them both to run

Any guidance would be appreciated

Thanks

You will need to get a new license file for your 2009, if it is still valid.  If it is part of the AutoCAD 2013 upgrade Subscription, then the lease on 2009 is expired.  You might be able to take license from your 2013 pool and get an exception for a 2009 temporarily, though, if this is the case.

For the best method to properly combine your license files, please read my entire thread here and choose the method that best fits your needs:

For best results, respond with any follow-ups here and not in my KB thread. Thanks!
