Missing timeline Scrub Bar or seeker bar.

After installing Maya 2010 64bit everything seems to be working just fine but I when I click into the timeline to slect a frame number, it lists the number I am on to the left of the timeline but I have no seeker/ scrub bar displaying on the timeline itself.

I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, searching all over the net and other forums. I have checked the settings and UI elements and there does not seem to be a setting anywhere where I can turn it on or off or even if it is there but unseen I can not have it display.

Please help, I am at my wits end on this. I am over due on a animation assignment and need to get this working asap. I'm up for any suggestions that can help me.

Thanks in advance for those who respond.

Have a great day.

-Mike

You will want to post this on the Maya Forum at the Area as this forum is for Installation and Licensing of Autodesk applications. In the Maya forum you will get responses from users of features of Maya.
