Mech 2011 install will not begin install on Windows 7 professional 64 bit op sys

When I begin to install ACAD Mech 2011, I immediately get the error "You cannot install this product on the current operating system". I am running a new computer with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit op sys. It's my understanding that these should be compatible. Any ideas?

Make sure you're installing the 64 bit version of AutoCAD Mechanical 2011.  If you're installing the 32 bit version you will get that message.

Thanks. I feel stupid now. I didn't notice the 32 bit slathered all over the file name I downloaded months ago. That would have been the right one then but, I just switched to Windows 7.
