We are running Flexlm license server with MAYA2013 and MAYA2014 Licenses. Out users are all running MAYA 2013 it was my understanding that the 2014 licenses were backward compatible with 2013 but non of the 2014 license are getting used. This is causing the users to run out of licenses.
can you post your status enquiry and or flex lm log?
