Maya 2012 - Fatal Error Attempting to Save In (Error in object)

Hello,

I've tried every solution that has been mentioned regarding this issue. The MAYA_DISABLE_CIP code, erasing temporary files, updating NVIDIA driver, everything. Nothing works.

I think in my case one of the objects inside the file is corrupted. When I import this file to a new one, it imports everything except that object. But the thing is, I've been able to open this version of the file before (I have several backups), but now none of them works.

Is there anything I can do besides doing it all over again?

I should specify that when I said I had opened this file before it was on another computer. That one has a NVIDIA card, and it works fine. This one has a RADEON and it doesn't.

It had never crashed like this before, but could it be that?
