Max2011 - blank activation page

I've installed Max 2011 on my pc running Xp64 but when I clink on the "activate" button I get a blank page with 2 "dots".

I searched on the forum and tried all the proposed solutions but i still cannot activate the software.

I have tried to unregister/register the DLLs, have tried to reset IE8....

Do you have any other solution to try?

OK. Found the solution.

I had to create a new user with administrator access and then authorize Max from the new user account.

That's crazy but worked.
